DESCRIPTION: English, (for Scottish market) 8 day, triple fusee bracket clock, Gothic in style, chiming the quarters on 8 bells, and striking the hours on a large coiled cathedral gong, c1875
CONDITION: Burl walnut and walnut case in very nice condition. Small veneer chip on the left side, a little piece of the tip on the bottom drop on the right spire and a repair to the left drop of the top spire. Lock on the back access door is missing. Original unsigned engraved silvered dial is clean with some minor scratches. Hands are original. A large & robust, heavy plated chain drive triple fusee is ticking and chiming. Note small hand in arch for Chime / Silent. Ht 27.75"
